Who owns Startek?

Startek is owned by Capital Square Partners (CSP), a Singapore-based private equity firm founded in 2014. CSP took Startek private on January 5, 2024, acquiring all shares it did not already own for $4.30 per share in cash, and the common stock was delisted from the NYSE before market open that day [Take-private completion — 2024-01-05].

The take-private had a total enterprise value of approximately $217 million and total equity value of approximately $174 million; CSP bought the remaining minority/public float for roughly $75M to reach 100%.

CSP's relationship with Startek dates to 2018: it owned Aegis (acquired from Essar's AGC Holdings for $300M on November 27, 2017), then reverse-merged Aegis into StarTek, taking ~55% ownership.
